Listen To The Full Interview Below:

Andrew McCarthy, Fox News Contributor, Former Assistant U.S. Attorney For Southern District Of NY joined the Guy Benson Show to react to the sworn testimony of former Trump aid Cassidy Hutchinson to the January 6th select committee on the events that transpired at the White House on and leading up to the riot at the Capitol on January 6th, 2021.

McCarthy detailed his top takeaways from the testimony by saying,

“So I think it’s really unbecoming for the committee to float out there that, you know, there might be serious crimes being committed, but not give us any evidence of that. And I also think it’s really tremendously unbecoming for Liz to continue to say that, you know, this or that person took the Fifth or hid behind the Fifth Amendment rather than testify to the committee.”

McCarthy added,

“If you pulled that kind of nonsense in a federal court, there would be a mistrial. And if you were a lawyer who did it, everybody knows that that’s improper. If you were a lawyer who did that, you would be held in contempt and there’d be sanctions.”
