Sen Davis: Biden Wants To Turn To The Saudis For Oil Because He Needs A Short-Term Political Lift
Founder and CEO of The Federalist Sean Davis joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to shed light on why it would not make any sense for President Biden to visit Saudi Arabia in order to ask them to ramp up oil production.
“It’s like going to your neighbor to beg them for a cup of sugar when you’ve got like a gallon sitting in your pantry. It makes no sense at all unless you view this through the lens of Biden and the completely kooky, eco Left wanting to permanently destroy the capacity of the U.S. to extract, refine and produce its own oil. Because that’s what it looks like to me. The guy rolls in, immediately shuts down leases and stops the Keystone XL pipeline. He’s crippled the domestic energy industry. And I think it’s done purposefully for the long-term to force us into these electric cars. And the reason he’s going to Saudi Arabia and other stuff is that he needs a short-term political lift. So long-term, he doesn’t want us using oil, but short-term he’s in trouble. So he’ll go ask the Saudis for a solid to give us some oil to get him out of the hole he’s dug himself in.”
