Bill Hemmer On The Capitol Riot Hearings, The Midterms And Former President Trump’s Future
This past Thursday, FOX Business and other networks aired the first of a series of televised hearings on last year’s Capitol riot.
The committee hopes to use former President Trump’s own words against him with the televised production, claiming to showcase never-before-seen footage and prove he instigated the violence. Republicans, however, call the committee partisan and illegitimate.
Before the first hearing, Bill Hemmer, co-anchor of FOX News’ America’s Newsroom, joined host Dave Anthony to preview the hearings and whether he thought it would move the needle and change anyone’s mind about what happened that day.
Hemmer also discussed the trends in the 2022 midterms he has observed thus far, the ongoing war in Ukraine, and his new FOX NATION special about Russia’s 1939 invasion of Finland, “The Winter War.”
Due to time limitations, we could not include all of the conversations within our original segment. On the FOX News Rundown Extra, you will hear the entire discussions with Bill Hemmer and hear more of his take on some biggest news stories, including whether he thinks former President Trump will run again.
