Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) Slams Chuck Schumer’s ‘You Will Pay The Price’ Comments In Wake Of Kavanaugh Assassination Plot

Senator Mike Lee (R-UT), Senate Judiciary & Joint Economic Committees. Author of the new book “Saving Nine: The Fight Against the Left’s Audacious Plan to Pack the Supreme Court and Destroy American Liberty” joined the Guy Benson Show to discuss his new book and react to the news that a California man attempted to assassinate the Supreme Court Justice Bret Kavanaugh.

Senator Lee slammed senator Chuck Schumer over his past inflammatory remarks directed at conservative supreme court justices by saying,

“I was very nervous at the time he made that statement. He should know better. I believe he’s a lawyer, a counselor, an officer of the court. And as such, he knows the dangers associated with doing that sort of thing. That is quite arguably an attempt to incite violence against the judicial branch of government, against the highest court in the land. But even if it doesn’t amount to that in the technical legal sense, it is at a minimum, an effort to de-legitimize and denigrate the court, which is also something that no officer of the court should do.”
