Byron York: Impossible Task For Biden To Convince Americans The Economy Is Going Well With Record Inflation

Byron York, Chief political correspondent, Washington Examiner, Fox News contributor joined the Guy Benson Show to react to Biden’s pivot on messaging on the economy despite record inflation and gas prices.

York reacted by saying,

“Well, I had to laugh a little bit at the idea of Biden pivoting to the economy. You’re right. That’s what they say they’re doing. Politico said the purpose of the June pivot appears three fold. And the first fold is to convince skeptical voters that despite their current misgivings, the economy is actually doing quite well. I think this is an impossible task. You won’t convince them because they go to the grocery store and they think, well, how much was that $60 worth? It was $120. That just happened. So you’re not going to convince them that the economy is going well. Inflation is something that poisons the view of most Americans who actually have to go and buy things.”
