Brian Brenberg: This Is The Presidency Of Economic Illogic

Fox News contributor and Professor of Business and Economics at The King’s College in New York City Brian Brenberg joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to shed light on the current economic crises facing the U.S., and how President Biden’s policies have only made them worse.

“Gas prices through the roof. What’s the president’s answer? What’s Senate Democrats’ answer? Let’s raise taxes on oil companies. Now you’ve got an inflation problem more generally speaking. Same thing. Well, let’s just raise taxes on them. Because why? Well, there’s no sense to it. There’s no logic to it. I mean, this is the presidency of economic illogic. They don’t have any cause and effect. They just throw things out there and they hope that somehow people are going to hear that they’ve got a solution and somehow believe that solution’s actually going to work when, of course, none of the solutions have worked. I mean, all of the oil solutions Biden’s put forward, we’re going to let you put the E15 in your tank, we’re going to release strategic petroleum reserves. None of those things have made a bit of difference. Oil today is higher than it was the day that he announced all of those schemes. And we’re getting nowhere. And Americans can’t get anywhere because they can’t afford to put gas in their tank.”
