Montana Republican Senator Steve Daines joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to share his thoughts on the possible intentions of whoever leaked the draft opinion from Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito in a pivotal abortion case.

“This was an outrageous breach of trust to intimidate the court and frankly, to frighten voters. It’s a deliberate attempt to cause a political and media wildfire that will intimidate and blow up the independence of the court and create an issue that they want to talk about. Because they can’t talk about inflation. They can’t talk about the border. They can’t talk about crime. They can’t talk on what’s going on in our schools, and the school boards at the moment. They’ve run out of any issue which they even want to bring up. And this is a desperate attempt, but here’s why it’s going to backfire. They tried this with Brett Kavanaugh back in 2018. You remember what happened. That nomination process was going on just before the 2018 election and Democrats said, we’ve got them now. This is going to be a great issue for us to run on. Frankly, some of my Republican friends got a little bit timid and afraid. We don’t need to be afraid of this issue. We need to lean in.”

Senator Daines also tells Jimmy why the science is not on the side of pro-choice advocates when it comes to abortion. To hear what else he had to say, listen to the podcast!
