Rep. James Comer: Biden’s Border Crisis Has Ramifications In All 50 States

Kentucky Republican Congressman James Comer joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to shed light on how the Biden administration’s lenient immigration policies have caused a catastrophic situation at the U.S. Southern border, a crisis he thinks will only get worse once Title 42 is lifted on May 23rd.

“A year ago when I took the Republicans on the House Oversight Committee to the border, Biden had just been president a few months, and we were demanding to know what is his border policy? We go back a year later, now we know his border policy, what it is. It’s an open border policy. Anyone that wants to come to the United States across the Southern border illegally is more than welcome in Joe Biden’s America. And Title 42 was the only tool in the toolbox this administration had to expel people back to the country where they came from. So you get rid of the only tool you have. It’s very frustrating. And again, they were only using that about probably 20 percent of the time. But that that helped a little bit. Now you’ve got no help, and anybody that sets foot on American soil is going to be here and is going to be a burden to the American taxpayers for the duration of their lives.”

Rep. Comer also talks about the consequences this lack of oversight at the border is having on the fentanyl crisis in the U.S. To hear what else he had to say, listen to the podcast!
