Brian Brenberg: Elon Musk Is Just What Twitter Needs To Spark Change

Professor of Business and Economics at The King’s College in New York City Brian Brenberg joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to talk about Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s $43 billion offer to buy Twitter, and why the company’s board of directors is attempting to prevent this takeover.

“The offer is pretty good. You just got to look at the stock price over the last year. Yeah, it hit 70 dollars a share late last year, but since then the thing has been a complete dog. So you look at Musk’s offer and it doesn’t look that bad. What’s so funny is the board of directors, very true to Twitter, is censoring anybody’s ability to speak on this issue. Instead of taking it to the shareholders, they’re simply saying no, you can’t do it. You know how we operate here at Twitter. Nobody gets a say. We’re just going to tell you what to do. Right? So they’re being very consistent. You’ve got to give them that.”

Brian also tells Jimmy why he thinks the Biden administration has extended the payment pause on federal student loans through the end of August. To hear what else he had to say, listen to the podcast!
