Georgia’s GOP Primary – A Test of Former President Trump’s Endorsement
2022 primary elections have kicked off across the country and in nearly a month the Georgia primaries will narrow down the candidates for governor. Republican candidate, former Senator David Perdue, is preparing to face off against incumbent Governor Brian Kemp at the end of May. Perdue joins to discuss why election integrity has become a central issue for his campaign, how his endorsement from former President Trump sets his candidacy apart, and he lays out his vision for creating prosperity and growth in Georgia.
William Barr served as the 85th U.S. Attorney General under former President Trump. Some of his critics called him a “toady” for his alignment with the president, whereas others criticized him for not supporting the president enough.
