Republicans Push For Less Gun Control
Republican lawmakers have been hard at work making the Constitutional Carry Act a reality in Georgia. With support from the National Rifle Association, the bill would allow Georgia citizens to carry firearms in public without a permit. Governor Brian Kemp (R-GA) is signing the bill into law today. He previously ran on a campaign to expand gun rights and is currently running for re-election in Georgia’s gubernatorial primary. He joins the Rundown to discuss the details of the gun rights legislation, key issues central to his campaign, and the possibility of a rematch with Democrat Stacey Abrams.
