Seth Dillon, CEO of The Babylon Bee joined the Guy Benson Show to react to billionaire Elon Musk joining Twitter’s board of directors after becoming the largest shareholder in the tech platform.

Dillion reacted to Elon’s move to take an ownership stake in Twitter saying,

“When he found out when he first heard that we had been suspended, you know, he was, he wanted to confirm that that was true. So we actually reached out to our suspended account to see if we had in fact been suspended and we couldn’t reply to him because we were suspended. So he found one of our staff members, our editor in chief. He found his account and was able to reach him through his account. And so we ended up speaking with him about the whole situation. But yeah, it’s, you know, he’s been concerned about censorship and a crackdown on expression, free expression on Twitter for some time. I don’t I wouldn’t for a second say that this is all due to the bee being in Twitter jail. So now Musk is going to do something about it to free the bee. I think if anything, it was the last straw. I mean, it’s just kind of like he there’s been just momentum going in this direction for so long and he wants to see it reversed.”
