Bill Melugin Reports On The Surge Of Migrant Encounters At Southern Border In February

Bill Melugin, national correspondent for Fox News joined the Guy Benson Show to report on the increase of migrant encounters at the southern border in February, which surged 63% over last year according to CBP data.

Melugin highlighted the concerns of ‘know got aways’ at the border saying,

“It is, and what’s crazier to think about is those encounters, they do not account for got aways. Two weeks ago, A very, very high-level DHS source told me that since October, there have already been more than 220,000 known got aways. So we’re looking at roughly a quarter-million people who have slipped past our border. And they do not count in those encounter numbers.”
