Jack Keane, is a retired 4-star general, the chairman of the Institute for the Study of War, and Fox News Senior Strategic Analyst joined the Guy Benson Show to react to the latest developments in the Russia-Ukraine war and why the U.S. rejected a proposal by the Polish to send jets to Ukraine.
Keane reacted to the Pentagon’s move to reject Poland’s offer to provide Jets to Ukraine saying,
“Yeah, I mean, I think I don’t know all the facts. No one does because, you know, we’re just not being told, but some just breaking through it a little bit. It was the poll’s idea. It was endorsed by Secretary Blinken two days ago after some discussion. I believe this happened. Likely a high government official from Russia called the foreign minister or the defense minister in Poland and told them, If you provide those fighter jets, we’re going to look at that as an act of war and you’ll suffer the consequences. I think that likely spooked them and they came up on an idea. Okay, we’ll still give the jets up, but we’ll give them to the Americans much more powerful country than we are, and they can deal with this better than we can and let them get the jets in the hands of the Ukraine. I don’t know that for a fact, but I’m speculating it seems very plausible to me.”
