Mollie Hemingway: Biden’s Policies Have Always Been Geared Toward Destroying Attempts Toward U.S. Energy Independence
Editor-in-chief of The Federalist Mollie Hemingway joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to share her thoughts on the Biden administration’s push to have more electric vehicles on the road.
President Biden has announced a ban on all imports of Russian gas, oil and energy into the U.S., and is warning the pain at the gas pump Americans are currently experiencing is only going to get worse. Mollie thinks his administration’s policies have always been modeled toward hurting the fossil fuel industry in an attempt to implement their clean energy agenda.
“I mean, they have been pretty open about how they want to destroy energy based in fossil fuels. That’s what they claim they want to do. That’s what their policies are oriented toward, what the entire Democrat Party’s policies are oriented toward. And so we should just take them at their word. But even the electric car silliness, apart from the ignorance of how expensive those are for most people, there’s also the issue of how they’re actually fueled in part by fossil fuels. Electricity isn’t something that has no relationship to fossil fuels, and the lack of understanding of that is infuriating. But just in general, these people are very bad at policy making. They’re very bad at decision making. They have done so much to bring us to the brink of actual nuclear war, which they apparently want us to get involved in. And it is just maddening to think of how little we can do to fight against it, and how much control they have over our society. And it’s terrifying right now.”
Later, North Carolina Republican Congressman Greg Murphy returns to the show and disputes Biden’s claim that his administration has not taken any action to hinder domestic energy production.
