Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI) spoke to Brian Kilmeade about Vladimir Putin miscalculating and not understanding the ferocity of the Ukraine people. Johnson says the Russian army is not as effective as Putin thought and that might be because of the low morale of the Russian soldiers. Johnson is hoping and praying for President Zelinsky, and believes he has shown true leadership, true courage. Johnson thinks Zelinsky’s leadership is one of the factors in terms of why Ukrainians are standing strong against Russia. Johnson also discussed the need to recognize that the sanctions are not working because too many countries are still dependent on Russian oil which they still continue to sell. Senator Johnson thinks the biggest blunder was the reluctance of the West, including the US, to fully arm Ukraine.
