Johnny Joey Jones: Why Biden’s Sanctions Will Do Little To Deter Putin’s Aggression In Ukraine
Fox News contributor Johnny Joey Jones joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to react to President Biden announcing he is imposing new sanctions on Russia in response to their recognition of separatists regions within Ukraine
In his address to the nation on Tuesday, Biden declared that Vladimir Putin has begun an invasion of Ukraine. The President stated the U.S. has no intention of fighting Russia, but also made it clear the our country is willing to defend “every inch” of NATO territory. Johnny Joey does not think Biden took a decisive enough stance against Moscow.”
“If you’ve ever been playing Texas Holdem and you’ve got someone that’s raising the bet and raising the ante, and there’s always that one guy over there who’s just calling, and it’s all they’re doing, they’re just calling. Like, this person could raise the bet, however much they want. You’ve got one guy over there who’s reluctantly calling. You know one thing for sure, which is the guy calling does not have a great hand, but the guy raising the bet may have a great hand or no hand at all. And in this situation, our President is just simply calling, and you don’t win by calling. And that’s the concern here, is that we don’t have a decisive response to this. Even if you don’t think we should have a response, not responding is still being decisive. But this walking the dog technique really makes us feel like our president and leader is at a loss.”
