Rep John Joyce: The Absurdity Of Today’s Kids Trading Masks During Lunchtime Instead Of Peanut Butter Sandwiches

Pennsylvania Republican Congressman John Joyce joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to weigh in on the negative consequences of still forcing children to wear masks in the classroom.

The governors of four states have recently announced plans to end mask mandates in schools. New Jersey, Connecticut, Delaware and Oregon are going to lift the requirements as COVID cases continue to decline. Rep. Joyce believes there is no scientific evidence which justifies keeping these rules in place.

“Having kids masked all day in school is not helpful for their growth and it’s not helpful for their progression in school. I have a granddaughter who’s in preschool and when she’s outside on the playground, she’s wearing a mask. How much more absurd can this be? She is not having the interaction, the ability to grow, to respond to people’s facial cues. Educators, pediatricians are telling us that this is important for the development of kids. It’s not occurring with masks.”

Rep. Joyce also talks about the harmful impacts of the calls by some Democratic politicians to “defund the police”, and how this movement is partially responsible for the crime spike many major U.S. cities are experiencing.

Plus, Host of “PARK’d” on Fox Nation Abby Hornacek stops by to help Jimmy brainstorms some ways we can improve the Olympics and make them more entertaining.
