Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX): Putin Is ‘Testing’ The United States

Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) joined the Guy Benson Show to discuss the Russia Ukraine crisis and the latest on Capitol hill.

Senator Cornyn weighed in on the Ukraine Russia showdown saying,

“Well, I’m very concerned about what Mr. Putin is doing. Obviously, he senses an opportunity, and I think part of that is because he senses some vulnerability, some weakness on the part of the US government. And you’d have to point to the precipitous withdrawal out of Afghanistan without consultation with our allies and with not much care for the consequences. And and I think he is testing the West and particularly the United States and also our NATO allies in Europe. But we don’t know exactly what he intends to do.”
