Congresswoman Elise Stefanik (R-NY), Chair of the House Republican Conference, spoke with Brian Kilmeade about Americans being worse off after one year of President Biden along with Speaker Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Schumer. Stefanik says we are seeing just how out of touch President Biden and Vice President Harris have been as Americans face the highest rate of inflation since 1981 adding to rising costs at the grocery store and gas pump. When asked about President Biden saying what are Republicans for, Stefanik responded, “The Constitution, balanced budgets, lower taxes, strong national security, border security and safer communities.” On Ukraine, Stefanik said they are an important partner for us and important geopolitically because Vladimir Putin wants to put together the former Soviet Union. Stefanik says it’s very frustrating how President Biden is handling the situation because he needs to be tough on Russia right now which should include sanctioning the Nord Stream 2 pipeline. On Donald Trump running in 2024, Stefanik says with people having buyers remorse regretting their vote for President Biden, she hopes he runs. Stefanik thinks President Trump is very focused on making sure republicans win back the House and Senate in the midterms and he can take his time before making his decision.
