Rep. Kat Cammack: We Need To Take More Of A Common Sense Approach To Fighting COVID-19
Florida Republican Congresswoman Kat Cammack joins Fox Across America With Jimmy Failla to discuss how her state has dealt with the COVID-19 pandemic compared to the rest of the country. She points out the hypocrisy of certain politicians from states with strict coronavirus policies coming to Florida for vacation.
According to Rep. Cammack, lawmakers in the Sunshine State have taken more of a targeted approach to fighting the virus. She thinks the rest of the U.S. should follow suit.
“We call that the Florida approach. It’s common sense. I think people are resistant to that because there’s no power to be gained when you give people the opportunity to make decisions for themselves. That is what big government hates more than anything, is an independent electorate that is focused on pragmatic, common sense approaches to things. We’ve lost our minds when it comes to basic human decency.”
Later, Rep. Cammack tells Jimmy why she is confident Republicans will easily take back the House of Representatives in the midterms.
Co-Host of “Outnumbered” Emily Compagno also stops by to share her thoughts on new Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s lenient crime policies, and the harmful impact they could have on New York City businesses. Additionally, she tells Jimmy about a disgruntled New York football fan who is suing the Jets and Giants… and not because of their abysmal performance on the field!
