Josh Holmes On Why The Virginia Governor’s Race Is A Toss Up

Josh Holmes, Founding Partner of Cavalry LLC and co-host of The Ruthless Podcast joined the Guy Benson show to discuss why the Virginia Governor’s race is so close, despite being a blue state.

Holmes said,

“Yeah, I mean, look, the first thing we all have to remember is that Virginia definitely is a blue state. I mean, if you listen to Democrats, they’re trying to pretend as though it’s like the ultimate swing state. But the recall that Joe Biden won by double digits one year ago, almost to the day. Right. So it’s pretty blue at this point, and it certainly has been blue for over the last decade. The fact that we are talking about this, you know, just one year removed from a Democratic sweep in Virginia, I think says a lot about the direction of the country and, you know, its proximity to what’s happening in Washington, D.C. and ultimately the trouble that has brought upon the McAuliffe campaign.”
