Dr. Marty Makary, Fox News Contributor, Surgeon and A Professor Of Health Policy At The Johns Hopkins School Of Public Health joined Fox News Radio’s Guy Benson Show to discuss why America is relying on other countries for data and research on covid cases and masking precautions.

Dr. Makary questioned why the CDC ad NIH isn’t producing it’s own data on Covid-19 research saying,

“Well, if there’s any indication that the CDC has failed in its primary task, it is right now when we are watching all the great data coming out of Israel, we have 20 times the data. We’ve got a budget of fifty seven billion dollars between NIH and CDC. And yet the NIH spent twice as much money last year on aging research than it did on covid research. You know, it’s very frustrating. The CDC has got 21,000 employees the way that they could not merge the data sets of vaccinated Americans, positive test results, hospitalizations, variants, all of that stuff should have been reported in real time to guide our pandemic strategy. And they didn’t. And so I don’t know what these twenty one thousand employees are doing over there. I don’t know if they’re looking at the Office Depot catalog or I don’t know what’s happening. I mean, where’s the data? Bangladesh is the only country that they cluster randomized control trial on Masks. How is Bangladesh putting out the big data on masks and not the United States of America?”
