Evening Edition: The United States Military Steps Up Evacuations
The United States military says the past twenty four hours has had the most evacuations from Afghanistan since the Taliban took control of the country with nearly thirty flights carrying over ten thousand people out of the country. But violence has continued to stop many from reaching the airport in Kabul and President Biden has said he has not ruled out staying longer than the August 31st withdrawal date.
