Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN): The Trillion-Dollar Infrastructure Plan Is “A Leftist Wish List”
On Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla, Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) discusses why she thinks the trillions of dollars proposed in the infrastructure bill and the proposed Democratic budget are paying for things right from “a leftist wish list.”
“I think people would find it very interesting to see all the work that gets done in our Senate offices and how hard most people up here do work to represent the people that sent them up here. But then when you hear about such out-of-control spending, like $1.2 trillion for infrastructure, where only 25% of that money goes for infrastructure or Bernie’s budget, which is $3.5 trillion, and we’re hearing that the estimate on that is actually going to be closer to $5 trillion. It puts in place a lot of new taxes. It puts in place some permanent welfare programs. It gives a pathway to citizenship, free citizenship for illegal aliens. Universal Pre-K, free community college. I mean, it is the leftist wish list.”
