On Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla, Fox Nation’s Tomi Lahren explained why she thinks the US Women’s Soccer team should have spent more time focusing their game than commenting on politics, which cost them a chance at for a Gold Medal at the Olympics.

“As much as I love the U.S. team and I would always support the U.S. team and anything that they do, anything USA you got my support, I’ve always kind of looked at soccer as a communist sport anyway. But I’ll tell you this, it’s not just go woke and go broke, it’s go woke and lose. Maybe Rapinoe and gang should have been a little less time on their virtue signaling and a little more time on, I don’t know, soccer and maybe they wouldn’t embarrass this great country. They’re fully capable of competing at a high level. We know that, they have an amazing record, but I don’t think it’s a coincidence that this year they’re kind of wetting the bed.”

“I can’t imagine being an athlete from China or some of these places that deal with actual oppression and looking at that third-place hammer thrower, or any of the rest of them and thinking, you know what, they think they’re oppressed. Let’s switch places. In fact, we’ve got hundreds of thousands of illegals pouring into our country that seem to find our country pretty free and pretty great. So maybe we should direct Rapinoe and that third-place hammer thrower and the rest of them on down to our southern border to see what the gratitude for this country looks like.”
