Rep. Warren Davidson (R-OH): Kinzinger & Cheney Have “Already Left The GOP”

On Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla, Rep. Warren Davidson (R-OH) talks about Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) and Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) should no longer be considered members of the Republican Party after agreeing to join the Jan. 6th Commission on Capitol Hill.

“Kinzinger and Cheney, by accepting appointments from Speaker Pelosi, they’ve effectively already left the GOP. I think it’s a fair question to say, should they ask Speaker Pelosi for committee assignments? They’re clearly not caucusing with the Republicans here. Our leadership is not appointing them. I think that’s really a violation of the spirit of the rules of Congress. Everyone swore the same oath to come and support and defend our Constitution. It should be country first. But the reality is Pelosi’s the one that has politicized this and it’s shameful to see these two essentially conspire and collaborate with this narrative. And I really keep looking for some of my Democratic colleagues, many of whom are really good folks, to break ranks with this and call it for what it is, it’s not intended to seek the truth. It’s intended to perpetuate a narrative, but it does perpetuate their power. And unfortunately, they’re going to have co-conspirators in the press, in social media that instead of seeking the truth, they’re going to perpetuate lies about it.”
