Dr. Marc Siegel: The Delta Variant Is Only More Transmissible, It’s Not More Severe

Dr. Marc Siegel,Fox News Medical Correspondent & author of “COVID: The Politics of Fear and the Power of Science” joined Fox News Radio’s Guy Benson Show to talk about rising fears over the Delta covid-19 variant.

Dr. Marc Siegel said,
“The answer is that the Delta variant is only more transmissible, it’s not more severe at all, and all of the deaths and almost all of the hospitalization have been unvaccinated people. So we just spent the first part of the interview explaining why you should get vaccinated. The second part is the Delta variant is not going to bother you, even if you’ve got a very mild case, as we’re seeing with the Texas lawmakers. You know, if you’re clinging together with another person that has it you might get it, you’re going to get a mild case. The Delta variant could be dealt with with the vaccine.”
