Evening Edition: Violent Protests Testing South Africa’s Democracy

The South African military has been deployed to quell days of violent protests and looting that has killed over one hundred people. The unrest was sparked by the jailing of former President Jacob Zuma for failing to show up at a corruption hearing but many say the country has had underlying political and economic problems that have finally boiled over.
