Dagen McDowell On How NYC’s Crime Surge Became The Top Issue In Mayoral Dem Primary Election
Listen To The Full Interview Below:
Dagen McDowell, Fox Business anchor joined Fox News Radio’s Guy Benson Show to talk about how New York City’s recent crime surge became the top issue of the NYC mayoral democratic primary election.
Degen sounded off by saying,
“Well, New Yorkers know who have witnessed crime, shootings just filth in the streets. They know that fewer cops don’t mean fewer criminals. But that’s not the way that you bring crime down by demoralizing, demonizing and defunding the police department. Number One. And listen, this is this has happened over a period of years because of left wing liberal policies, not just in New York City, but in New York State.”
Dagen added,
“Dave Wassermann at the Cook Political Report says that he’s up to 95 percent sure that Eric Adams will win the Democratic primary. so it is very, very close to being kind of finished. And you know why? You know who came out for Eric Adams? Black and Latino voters in the outer boroughs who give a damn about the safety of their family, who have to witness the mayhem in the streets. That’s who came out for him. They’re voting on safety and security and somebody who is willing to try and stop the downward spiral in this city.”
