Kennedy: The Border Surge Needs To Be Treated Like a Trauma

On Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla, Fox Business’ Kennedy talks about how Vice President Harris should be going to the border to see the problems there first-hand, instead of saying she’s studying the “root causes” of illegal immigration.

“The easiest thing in the world is to go to the border, look around, talk to people, talk to ICE agents, talk to CBP, talk to kids in custody, talk to their parents, get on the phone, make some of these connections, figure out what’s not working, go there with Mayorkis, get a task force together, get several task forces, get some legislation written with your fellow Senators.”

“Kamala Harris saying that she’s going to get to the root causes, instead of actually going to the border, that’s like a trauma surgeon saying, you know what, I’m going to go to the medical library and I’m going to read about this gunshot wound. I can read about it. I can read about the surgical technique. And I’m going to read about the root causes of the gunshot wound instead of putting his hand in someone’s abdomen and surgically stopping the bleeding. Because you have to do both. You have to have some level of expertise. But at the same time, you have to perform traumatic care. The border is, the surge is, a gunshot wound like this is trauma. And it has to be treated thusly.”
