Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA), author of “DAUGHTER OF THE HEARTLAND: My Ode to the Country that Raised Me“, spoke to Brian Kilmeade about President Biden’s meeting with Vladimir Putin. Ernst feels President Biden was not inspiring and was abdicating leadership to Vladimir Putin by calling him a worthy adversary. Ernst went on to say that America has to have a heavier hand when it comes to our adversaries China, Russia, Iran and North Korea. On infrastructure, Ernst feels the price tag may be a little higher than what some republicans want but likes the bipartisan work democrats and republicans have been doing, especially putting the money toward traditional infrastructure instead of social policy. Ernst feels it is unfortunate Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer wants to ram infrastructure through reconciliation.

Plus, Senator Ernst on attending Vice President Kamala Harris’ dinner party for a bipartisan group of female senators and what type of small talk senators engage in during these type of events.
