Over the past year we have seen Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, appearing at the White House coronavirus task force briefings and doing interviews for multiple media platforms, updating Americans on Covid-19. Early on in the pandemic Dr. Fauci dismissed the theory the virus originated in a lab, but now Fauci, who serves as President Biden’s chief medical advisor, is under fire for his original dismissal of the Wuhan lab origins theory. A recent release of his work emails disclosed through a Freedom of Information Act request shows he may not have been as firm on his stance as he showed to the public during the early days of the pandemic. Retired admiral, and former Assistant Health Secretary under President Trump, Dr. Brett Giroir, discusses the lack of transparency when it comes to the information being presented on the coronavirus. He discusses the lab leak theory and if we will ever know the truth behind how the pandemic originated. Plus, he weighs in on if Dr. Fauci should be fired following his recent email scandal.
The Supreme Court will soon make decisions on cases involving the Affordable Care Act, student free speech, religious clauses and abortion. After much discussion from the progressives in the Democratic Party about the need to reform the court to fix what they see as an ideological imbalance, the Supreme Court recently made two separate unanimous decisions. Law Professor at George Washington University and Fox News Contributor Jonathan Turley joins to explain why the High Court may not be as ideologically divided as it is portrayed to be, what kind of positive reforms he believes can be made to the Supreme Court and he breaks down the key cases soon to be decided and what impact they will likely have for all Americans.
