Evening Edition: Secretary Blinken Attempts to Solidify Mideast Ceasefire
The United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken used his first trip to the Middle East to visit with various leaders to try and make sure the latest ceasefire between Israel and the Palestinians lasts. The Secretary thanked leaders of Egypt and Jordan for their roles in the ceasefire and also promised the United States stands firmly behind Israel and will also lend financial assistance in rebuilding Gaza.
