Howard Kurtz Reacts To Rick Santorum, Chris Cuomo Scandals Roiling CNN

Howard Kurtz, host of Fox News Channel’s “MediaBuzz” joined the Guy Benson Show to react to CNN cutting ties with contributor Rick Santorum over comments about Native Americans, ‘News’ anchor Chris Cuomo caught participating in Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s legal calls.

Howard Kurtz reacted by saying,

“Well, first of all, of course, Chris Cuomo is an opinion host in primetime. And therefore, I really problem with what he does in the sense of, you know, every night he comes on, he bashes Trump, he bashes Republicans. And of course, he was going to privately advise his brother, Andrew Cuomo. The two are very close. I know the family well. They talk all the time. Where he crossed the line clearly was enjoying these damage control calls, not just with the governor, but with governor’s top PR people, lawyers, staff, outside strategists becoming part of the team. He recognizes that CNN wouldn’t defend it. CNN said it was inappropriate, but not taking any action, resisting calls to suspend him or take other drastic action.”
