Bret Baier, Chief Political Anchor for Fox News & Anchor of Special Report with Bret Baier joined Fox News Radio’s Guy Benson Show to discuss his ‘Intense’ interview with Rep. Liz Cheney.

Bret Baier said,

“Yeah, clearly. And I know you talked to her the next day and and she’s done multiple interviews. And for some reason, that was a little intense. I was coming from it, from the questions. From House Republicans who voted her out as conference chair and what they were telling us, the reasoning behind it. Not necessarily tied to President Trump and what he said about the election, which we clearly have said numerous times and done many stories about, that the election wasn’t stolen to her point. So I think she wanted to make a statement in that interview. And so that’s got a little intense. Do I think that she’s planting a flag? I do think so. And I wouldn’t be surprised if she ran for president, although she said she’s not focused on it. You know, she was going to talk to New Hampshire today or something in the next day after we talked.”
