listen To The Full Interview Below:
Congressman Adam Kinzinger (R-IL) joined Fox News Radio’s Guy Benson Show to discuss the ongoing escalations in the middle East.
Rep. Adam Kinzinger said,
“I mean, you know, you have to pick your friends and we have no greater friend in the Middle East than Israel. And, you know, if you think just, of course, the history, you know, surrounded by enemies, attacked multiple times, defends itself and and really, you know, develops a close relationship with the United States. And and in that process, we we share information, we help develop things. And, you know, when we talk about foreign aid, Israel is the only exception, but they still have to spend 75 percent. This is what a lot of people understand. Foreign aid still has to be spent on American products. Israel only has a 75 percent waiver, but still 75 percent of what we give has to be spent on American products as well as, you know, joint development of things. So you think about when I was in Iraq, we had the failings which defended against mortar attacks. And now you have, of course, the Iron Dome and other ones, David’s sling, which defend against higher altitude like this is essentially you have people that, you know, leadership in Gaza, for instance, that have decided to unleash hell, not targeted in any way, but to go after civilians. Israel has to defend itself. And and like you, I’m proud to see what technology has been able to do. But it also does leave me with a sense of man. I would I would hate to be in Israel right now, you know, beautiful of the country as it is.”
