Rep. Greg Murphy: CDC Director Walensky Has Shown “A Total Failure In Her Ability To Lead”
On Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla, Vice Chairman of the House Republican Doctors Caucus Rep. Greg Murphy (R-NC) explained why he’s called for CDC Director Rochelle Walensky’s resignation after she made decisions Murphy called “an affront to medicine.”
“What she has done as the head of the CDC, the highest health organization in the country, is that she’s made health guidelines, which are not being objective, but they are influenced by a political special interest group. And that, in my opinion, is against our Hippocratic Oath that shows that a total failure of her ability to lead in the health department of the country. And she has full knowledge about this. You look at the emails that go back and forth, it’s an affront to medicine. And what it’s done, even more importantly, is she has placed teachers’ unions over the health and welfare and education of our children, such to the point that our children in many communities, especially minority communities, have now undergone irreparable harm from being kept out of the classroom because of, in my opinion, inexcusable excuses at this point in time.”
