Congressman Lee Zeldin (R-NY) tells Brian Kilmeade democrats pushing to make Washington D.C. the 51st state is a power grab to add two more democrat senators. Zeldin says President Biden didn’t run on making D.C. a state and feels it is the people around him making the decisions and calling the shots. On the democrats push to eliminate the filibuster Zeldin calls the democrats hypocritical after defending the filibuster when they were in the minority and says the country is screwed if democrats get rid of the filibuster. Zeldin also discussed being in contact with former President Donald Trump after announcing he is running for governor of New York in 2022. Zeldin says he is preparing to run against Andrew Cuomo and feels if it turns out to not be Cuomo it will be someone who is further to the left.
