Listen To The Full Interview Below:
Dr. Nicole Saphier, Board Certified Medical Doctor, Senior Fox News Medical Contributor joined Fox News Radio’s Guy Benson Show to talk about the decision to pause the use of the Johnson and Johnson covid vaccine over fears of blood clots. Saphier also explained why we need to wait and see on the need of a third dose.
“You’re absolutely right and, you know, it’s, it is extremely upsetting and people already at this point are afraid to get the vaccine and now they’re only focusing on the negative media headlines that are coming out. But in the same in the same vein, I saw the Pfizer CEO today saying, you know what, we’re probably going to need a third dose.”
Dr. Saphier added,
“Can we just hold on one second, people, before we start talking about the booster’s and the annual needing another dose, let’s look at the data. Let’s look at the original SARS coronavirus, which sars-cov-2 is turning out to act very similar to SARS. It’s just more transmissible, more contagious that SARS immunity from being infected last two to three years. And some people had much longer immunity than that. So, yes, well, antibodies may fall off and there may be variants circling. Let’s not undercut the how strong our immunity from these vaccines, from our previous infections may stand up to future waves. So I think that they need to stop talking about this, push the pause button and stop causing more panic.”
