Arizona AG Mark Brnovich: “Anarchy & Chaos” Are Being Created At The Border

On Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla, Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich discusses why “anarchy and chaos” has been created at the border and why the Biden administration’s border policy is worse for the country than an incomplete border wall.

“People respond to incentives. They respond when things are decriminalized. And that’s in essence what the Biden administration did. And so regardless of how one thinks about immigration, it is a humanitarian catastrophe. It’s unfair to the people that the coyotes and people are being taking advantage of. The cartels, they make money off every single person smuggled in this country. So you’re empowering the cartels. People are being exploited. And then meanwhile, states like Arizona, you literally have hundreds of people being dropped off in the middle of parks and towns and bus stations because they have no place to put the people. It’s ridiculous.”

“People have said the wall’s not completely done and people are still trying to get across the border. But what the wall did do is make it more difficult. And then it allowed Border Patrol more time to respond. Are people still cutting holes in the wall? Are there still issues? Yes, but the point is, when you have no wall and then you create incentives for people to come over, you are going to see more of that. And what the Biden administration did is they sent a whistle out and they basically were saying that you can come to the United States, we’re going to let you become citizens and we’re going to give you all these benefits. So if you’re in Central America in bad economic conditions, you’re thinking, my goodness, this now is the time to go. And I think that’s as simple as what’s happening. And when you have that many people trying to cross the border, come over the border at one time, it creates anarchy, it creates chaos.”
