Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC): President Biden “Is Bound to Protect The Country & He’s Not Doing It”
On Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla, Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC) discusses why President Biden won’t consider the surge at the border a crisis and what he heard during when he took part in a hearing to question Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas about immigration policy.
“The priority ought to be America. The priority ought to be the citizens of this country who have paid taxes, who have been in America, who for 230 years have made this country great. And we’re a nation of borders. And for him to open this up, he will not claim it’s a crisis. The majority of the media is not telling the Americans what’s going on. You remember for four years they hounded Trump on everything, but primarily their lead lead in almost every show was with children in cages. Well, where are the children now? They will not admit that is a crisis. They will not admit the children are in the same conditions, except worse. The sad part about this, I feel for the police officers who have to arrest people when they get in this country, I fear for the 142-plus programs that are on the American taxpayer dime that we’ll be paying for. And it’s just a terrible situation.”
“We’re at a point of no return. We know that once they get bused into the cities and towns all across America, they don’t show up for the court date. We’ve had estimates of 1.2 million that’s backlogging in our courts. And of the four terrorists that we asked Secretary Mayorkas, it’s the ones we don’t catch. And it’s such a disservice to the country. The President is bound to defend the country and he is not doing it. He’s can’t put two sentences together anyway. The radicals are running it and I don’t see an end in sight. I really don’t and that’s the sad part because you can’t unring the bell once these immigrants are let in this country. And it’s so sad.”
