Dr. Marc Siegel: The Data Says Open The Schools

Fox News Medical Correspondent Dr. Marc Siegel & author of ‘COVID: The Politics of Fear and the Power of Science’
joined Fox News Radio’s Guy Benson Show to discuss the ongoing struggle to reopen schools amid the pandemic.

Dr. Marc Siegel said,

“I mean, look, obviously somebody the teachers unions, it sounds like, are trying to get it to get all the way to the end of the year. And they’re using fear to make teachers afraid, even though teachers are not getting it from students and students are not passing it to each other very much. And again, there’s no reason the school shouldn’t be open and a lot of teachers are vaccinated. And you remember a couple of weeks ago, there were saber rattling. You have to be vaccinated before you can go into school, when in fact, you know, I worked as a physician in my office for months and months and months before I was vaccinated. Seeing covid patients to carefully. But the point is they have public health measures in place in these schools.”

Dr. Siegel added,

“The data says open the schools Guy, the data says open the schools and it says open them months ago and open them now.”
