On Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla, Fox News Contributor and former White House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer explains why he thinks Gov. Andrew Cuomo will resign as more accusations of sexual harassment have become public.
“If he wasn’t a Democrat, he would already be done. The fact that he’s a Democrat is the only thing propelling him up. I expect some senior Democratic woman is going to come out and say he needs to resign. And then kind of like what you saw with former Minnesota senator, the comedian Al Franken. I think it will become impossible for him to cling to his job. So if enough people stay silent, he could get away with it. But I think it’s inevitable. I think you’re going to see Cuomo resigns. And interestingly, he’d be the third Democrat governor in a row in New York State to resign and not finish his term.”
“And once you’re gone, you’re gone. And people tend to let you go. Does Cuomo want to come back? Maybe Cuomo will go and get one of those Trump style speeches and say, let’s see if I’ll run again. Who know? Do you want me?”
