Pete Hegseth: I Want Biden To Be Capable, But “We’ve Got A Mentally Absent Commander-In-Chief”

On Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla, “Fox And Friends Weekend” Co-Host Pete Hegseth discusses why Democrats wants President Biden to give up sole authority to launch nuclear strikes and what to expect from former President Trump’s speech at CPAC.

“We all know what it really is, which is what they all knew before the election occurred as well, which is we’ve got a mentally absent Commander-in-Chief. I’m not saying that to be derogatory to Joe Biden. I want him to be capable. I want that. But ultimately, if you look around and realize that he is not, then his own party takes these kind of measures. It’s really stunning and jarring and shame on us for not being able to have an actual conversation as a country about whether or not he’s prepared to be the President. And now he’s in a cocoon where he doesn’t get asked tough questions and they’ll never put him in unpredictable situations.”

“The national media, the D.C. media, the New York media want to write the story of Liz Cheney. They want to write the story of Mitt Romney because it makes them feel good. The story they’re going to have to write is that the Republican Party, the conservative movement in America, is led by Donald Trump, whether you like that or not. And they’re going to see that on full display on Sunday afternoon. And they’ve taken every measure they could, especially following January 6th, to try to cancel him and his movement. And what they will see is the movement is much bigger than him. And you’ll see how invested people are in him.”
