Listen To The Full Interview Below:

On today’s Guy Benson Show, Karl Rove Former Deputy Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor to President George W. Bush, Wall Street Journal Columnist and Fox News Contributor spoke about the future of the Republican party and the ongoing infighting within the the party.

Karl Rove Said,

“We’re badly fractured. And for the long haul, we need, it’s time to reexamine how we apply our timeless conservative principles to the changing circumstance of the country.”

Rove added,

“We’ve got to be very careful about how we approach 2022. If we’re in the midst of a civil war, it ain’t going to be fun. And we are in a civil war now because, you know, people are not allowing other people to make a decision based on character and integrity and their own personal views. They’re insisting on blind allegiance. It’s my way or the highway. And Ronald Reagan was right. Somebody who agrees with me 80 percent of the time is my ally, not my enemy. And we’re at a point in the Republican Party today where unless you are 100 percent one way, everybody gets to you know, everybody has to be 100 percent one way. Or guess what, you know, you’re a RINO. Well, I’m sick and tired of that title because the people who throw it around are the people who have taken upon themselves to unilaterally define what a what a Republican is. And if you don’t agree 100 percent with their definition, they start throwing around names. That is an excuse.”
