On today’s Guy Benson Show, Congressman Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) spoke about the GOP party vote on whether or not to keep Rep. Liz Cheney as the party’s conference chair and the precedent that is set if House members are removed from committees based on things they said before being elected.

Rep. Dan Crenshaw said,

“So you can’t set this precedent of removing people from committees, obviously, which is a form of punishment within the House based on things that were said before you were elected, you set that precedent and. You know, you’re opening up Pandora’s box and so voting to keep her on a committee is in no way an endorsement of her style or demeanor or anything she’s ever said or will say. But but you’ve got to you’ve got to stick to the process here. And, you know, if you’re going to punish somebody in the House, it’s got to be for things they do while being elected members.”
