Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY): Cuomo Should Have Written COVID Policies, Not Books
On Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla, Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY) talks about some of the failed COVID plans Gov. Andrew Cuomo has enacted and why indoor dining should return to New York City.
“We’re very upset that he spent all that time writing that book and when he should have been writing a policy to take care of our elderly and our nursing homes and to ensure that we can have a quick dissemination and distribution of the vaccinations and reopen the economy. That’s the number one thing I tell him is to reopen this economy. Let’s get people back to work, restore those jobs lost. To think that here we are months later and we have not reopened indoor dining isn’t planned to do so until Valentine’s Day, while other cities are either fully open or at least 50% open. In fact, other parts of New York are 50% open. Yet New York City is 100% closed until February 14th. And he’s hurting thousands of people in small businesses, their livelihoods. And it’s really, really something that has been a strong focus of mine.”
