Dana Perino said,
“I’ll never criticized any press secretary for their style. Look, it’s a really hard job. And believe me, I don’t know what my thing was, but her circle back was like my I’ll get back to you on that. Every press secretary has won. And you know what? It’s better for her to say I’ll get back to you are all circle back then for her to make it up or, you know, that would be terrible if she was making anything up and she’s not. Plus, it’s only their second full week starting today. And they don’t have all of their ducks in a row yet. They’re still getting their feet on the ground there. They got a lot on their plate, And also, you know, she has a lot of experience at the podium with having been the spokesperson at the State Department. And, look, life was always so easy for her over there to. So give it some time. If you remember the reporter from the AP, Matt Leach, he was at the State Department, he used to give her a run for her money all the time. And that experience for her means that she comes to the job with some gravitas and experience that I certainly didn’t have when I got there.”
