Rep. Doug Collins: Rev. Warnock’s Military Comments Were “Despicable”
On Fox Across America with Jimmy Failla, Rep. Doug Collins talks about the comments made by Democratic Senate candidate Rev. Raphael Warnock about those who serve in the military and their faith.
“It was of the most despicable things I have heard in a long time. I mean, I’ve heard other things from Rev. Warnock, like he is a pro-choice pastor, not sure what scripture he’s reading, but make it up as you go. Killing babies in the womb is fine, but I don’t think that’ll preach well on Sunday morning, but you can go give it a try. But when you go after the military, in which godly men and women have been part of our fabric for years, even those without religious convictions and others, to say that there’s no way to serve both. It’s just the height of liberal arrogance. It is just the height of pandering. And it to me, it’s frankly just disqualifies him. This will be someone if elected would be over the military budget. I don’t want that to happen, that he is disqualifying himself from from anything. And that’s the way he feels that he owes an apology to every member of the military who has faith and even members of his own congregation.”
